Under the Programme, the team of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv visited Northumbria University from 1 to 5 November 2016. The participants learnt about management system of the British university and analysed its experience of introducing a student support system on campus, including development of future leaders – change agents through active engagement with the bodies of student self-government and institutions / groups of non-formal education.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University and Northumbria University.
“The Programme systematically changes both the participants and the university (through the involvement of senior management). University interconnections change from the outdated vertical to the horizontal, based on goodwill, openness, freedom. The change incredibly reveals the rapid development of ideas, innovations, and productive changes”
