TheatreHD | British Council

The British Council and CoolConnections arts group are primed to announce the opening of the new TheatreHD arts festival season.

The project mission: to make masterworks of British theatre and visual arts accessible to everyone via cinema screenings in cities across Ukraine.

TheatreHD broadcasts performances from leading British stages and companies—The Royal National Theatre in London, Shakespeare’s Globe, the Old Vic and the Royal Shakespeare Company. The project also features documentaries covering the fine arts, leading artists and exhibitions involving esteemed museums and celebrated locales from across Europe and around the world.

TheatreHD screenings will come to MULTIPLEX and Cinema Citi theatres throughout the country, in the cities of Kyiv, Dnipro, Lutsk, Lviv, Odesa and Kharkiv. All broadcasts are in English with Ukrainian subtitles.
