We are delighted to announce the launch of our new teacher training programme: the Trinity CertTESOL.
The Trinity CertTESOL (Trinity College London Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is an internationally recognised qualification that prepares you for a career as an English language teacher in the UK or abroad. The programme includes a minimum of 130 hours of guided learning, six hours of observed and assessed teaching practice with real learners, and external moderation by Trinity College London.
The course will help you build a deeper understanding of how teaching and learning work in practice. Our trainers bring extensive experience and have already helped many trainees successfully achieve this qualification.
What you'll learn
On this course, you'll develop the foundation skills needed to work as a teacher, including how to:
- understand the main phonological, lexical and syntactic features of modern English;
- recognise the needs and motivations of individual learners and groups;
- plan and deliver effective lessons;
- evaluate, use and adapt published teaching materials;
- create your own teaching materials and classroom aids.
