The British Council is looking for experts and experienced practitioners specialising in culture and the creative economy to help implement its grant programmes effectively in Ukraine. The evaluators will play a key role in ensuring that grant applications are assessed transparently and impartially. They will help identify the strongest projects, which foster collaboration between cultural organisations and professionals from Ukraine and the UK, and contribute to the development of Ukraine’s creative economy.

Key grant programmes:

Cultural Activity in Ukraine with UK Involvement Evaluation of grant applications from Ukrainian non-profit cultural organisations delivering public programmes in Ukraine that involve UK content, artists, or experts.
Connections through Culture Assessment of applications for grants supporting artistic collaboration between the UK and Ukraine. The programme funds joint projects by artists, creative professionals, or arts organisations, fostering cross-cultural exchange and long-term partnerships.
Creative Economy Development Evaluation of grant applications from creative hubs and sectoral associations. The programme supports the development of a sustainable ecosystem and strengthens networks across the cultural and creative industries.

Fee: A fixed rate will be offered to all evaluators. The final payment will depend on the number of applications assessed.
