“A wonderful Programme aimed at developing the potential of Ukrainian higher education institutions which is of particular importance to universities that were displaced in the context of the hostilities. Participation in the Programme has galvanised the staff into action for the development and rebuilding of the university”

Leadership development and building a change management system in a displaced university
Under the Programme, the team of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, jointly with the team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, visited the University of Cambridge, UK from 27 November to 3 December 2016. Aspiring to make the visit most beneficial, the hosting party organised a 4-day scientific-practical conference featuring 30 prominent scholars and experts who presented the results of their research and discussed issues of university management, funding and function in conditions of displacement, distance learning, student involvement, as well as the development and implementation of an international strategy. The discussed ideas have inspired representatives of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University to come up with a new university development strategy.
