Hi, I’m Kate. I started teaching English even before I graduated from my University. In 2000, I participated in the two-month Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Internship Program, the experience that broadened my horizons. In 2018, I completed CELTA and joined BC, in 2019-2020 I completed TYLEC, in 2020 I passed my CPE. I sincerely admire all people, from young learners to adults, who learn foreign languages, and do my best to assist those who are in their big adventure of studying English.

Hello, my name is Alina. I hold a Master's degree in English Philology and international teaching qualifications including CELTA, DELTA Module 1, IH CAM, TKT and CELT-S. I also hold a C1 Advanced (CAE) certificate.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience working with both young learners and adults.

Currently, I mainly focus on teaching adults English for Specific Purposes, working with learners from a variety of professional backgrounds.

I’m Lena, and I’m from Dnipro. After graduating from the Dnipropetrovsk National University with two majors in psychology and TEFL in 1994, I started teaching English. I’ve been teaching students of all age groups and levels since then. Like most teachers, I am passionate about lifelong learning. My qualifications include an IH Cert.in TEFL, an IH Certificate in Business English, an IHCYLT, an IH Certificate in Advanced Methodology. I’m keen on making my lessons as communicative as possible.

Hi, I’m Martin. I’ve worked as a teacher trainer for the British Council for more than 16 years now. I’ve worked in Russia, UAE and South Korea. I have extensive experience of all kinds of teaching and training, being also a Celta Main Course Tutor and IELTS examiner. I enjoy the fact that I can still learn things from my students and colleagues and that even after 20 years teaching, something new and surprising can happen any time. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family.

Hi, I’m Mila, and I’m from Luhansk. I started teaching English in 2007 in my alma mater, National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI”. I joined the British Council in 2014. My professional achievements include a PhD in teaching languages, CELTA, DELTA and TYLEC. Besides that, I’ve got a Cambridge Proficiency in English Certificate (CPE). I'm interested in developmental psychology. I also like reading science fiction, playing board games and doing yoga.

Hello, my name’s Natalia. I’ve taught adults for more than decade and it’s been a wonderful experience. I’ve worked with students from Ukraine, Georgia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and native French speakers in Canada. As an exchange student I studied linguistics at one of the best universities in Germany. Later I got my CELTA and in 2016 I completed a teacher development course at the University of Ottawa. I really enjoy helping people to communicate their message to the world eloquently.

 
Hi, I’m Oksana. After graduating from Drahomanov Ukrainian State University in 2013, I became an AIESEC Global Volunteer and gained valuable experience while working abroad on a project for secondary school students. A year later, I did a nine-month internship in Turkey, where I taught English to young learners. I completed my CELTA in 2016 and have been teaching both adults and young learners ever since. I also hold a Cambridge C2 Proficiency (CPE) certificate.

Hi, I’m Olena, Ukrainian, currently doing an exciting career project with British Council Ukraine. Having a strong academic background in languages, I challenged myself to complete successfully Cambridge DELTA Module One, and Critical Thinking course from University of Oregon. I like exploring the world. My most recent experience is China which urges me to master their incredible language. My spare time is fully my daughter’s, who is my inspiration and motivation.

Hi! I'm Rhonda and I'm from the UK. I have a degree in Modern Languages (French, Russian and Spanish) and my teaching qualifications include Trinity TESOL Cert, Cambridge DELTA, CELTYL and an IH Certificate in Teaching Very Young Learners. Before I moved to Kyiv in 2003 I taught English in Russia, Portugal and Lithuania and I've taught people from the age of two upwards at all levels and for a variety of purposes.
