What is IELTS on computer?

We have made it easier and more convenient for you to take your IELTS test. You can now take your test on a computer. With IELTS on computer, the Listening, Reading and Writing sections are taken on a computer. The Speaking section is still done with a trained IELTS examiner, as we believe it is the most effective way of assessing your speaking skills.

To learn more about the test format and its advantages, please visit our IELTS on computer page.

We have created a series of online videos dedicated to IELTS on computer, which will help you understand how the Listening, Reading and Writing sections appear on the computer and show you the different functionalities available. Make sure to watch the whole series, so that you feel confident and ready on your test day.
