Between October 2025 and February 2026, the British Council in Ukraine plans to deliver Pop-Up events as part of the Youth Connect for Ukraine project in several of the following regions: Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Poltava, Rivne, Ternopil, Zakarpattia, Vinnytsia, Volyn, or Zhytomyr.
Priority will be given to regions or cities where a Pop-Up event has not yet taken place.
What are our Pop-Up events?
- 5 days of dynamic face-to-face programming;
- a leadership training for 25–30 local participants aged 16–25;
- an Open Day event for 100 participants;
- team-based social initiatives that help apply new skills in practice, strengthen connections, and contribute to the well-being of local communities;
- up to 20,000 UAH available to support the implementation of a social initiative.
We are seeking partnerships with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that are legally registered and based in Ukraine, with a minimum of three years of experience in working with youth and implementing youth-focused projects.
Selected partners will be expected to:
- develop the theme, concept, and detailed plan for the Pop-Up event, including the Leadership in Times of Disruption training and the Open Day;
- coordinate participant outreach and selection, organise the delivery of the event, provide technical and communications support, and engage speakers and experts to implement the programme;
- manage the project budget and reporting;
- provide mentoring support to participants during the implementation of selected social initiatives;
- submit all required narrative and financial reports at each stage and upon completion of the project.
The budget for one Pop-Up event must not exceed 540,000 UAH.
The British Council in Ukraine will provide the leadership training methodology and access to a pool of certified facilitators.
Priority will be given to organisations working directly in the regions listed above and with strong knowledge of the local context and youth needs.
Experience in working with international organisations and/or implementing grant-funded projects will be considered an advantage.
